My client coveted this house for a long time. But, by the time it came on the market they had developed very specific requirements of their own.  The professional husband is an after-hours artist and needed a studio to work from.  The work-from–home wife needed a large workshop for her framing business.  I was requested to enlarge the house to accommodate these needs, while not altering the cape georgian style, which is what my clients liked about the house.  We managed to do so and also included a separate flat for ‘granny’, or for additional income. In total we increased the house by 120% and added the pool.
